The wait finally comes to an end for King Khan Shah Rukh Khan’s fans all over the world. The maker’s of the much awaited Shah Rukh Khan starrer has released the First Look poster of the film as the New Year’s gift for all the SRK Fans worldwide.
Shah Rukh reunites with his ‘Om Shanti Om’ co-star Deepika in the Rohit Shetty film. The project follows Khan’s character on a 35-hour train journey from Mumbai to Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu.
South Indian actor Sathyaraj also makes his first ever Bollywood debut in the film as Deepika’s father. The SRK and Deepika pair comes back on the silver screen after the gap of almost six years.
Shetty recently filmed scenes with the actors at Dudhsagar Falls waterfall on the border of Goa and Karnataka, and in the port town of Vasco Da Gama.
The music is composed by duo Vishal-Shekhar, choreorapher turned director Farah Khan is expected to collaborate the steps of one of the tracks in the film.
The Chennai Express title started to trend on Twitter in India ahead of the slightly delayed midnight unveiling.
This will be the first film where Shah Rukh Khan is working with Rohit Shetty. Earlier the duo were planning to remake yesteryear classic ‘Angoor’ in their own style.
The movie is scheduled to release at the end of 2013.
