First Look: Ek Thi Daayan looks very spooky!
And the trailer of the much awaited Emraan Hashmi flick, Ek Thi Daayan is out! Balaji Motin Pictures launched the trailer yesterday and the movie is already making a quite a buzz. Positively Ek Thi Daayan is among the most keenly awaited films of the new year, Ek Thi Daayan, marks the first ever association of two creative powerhouses – Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj.Directed by Kannan Iyer, film stars Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin, Konkona Sen Sharma and Huma Qureshi in lead roles.
In the first trailer, it’s shown that there is a haunted building with Emraan Hashmi trying to figure out what’s so out of place in about the building. And the way he describes the characteristics of the monstrous daayan is also conceptualised in an interesting way.
The daayan is a gorgeous lady whose sole strength and power resides in her long plait, her hands are long and her feet is reversed – who wouldn’t get all spooked after hearing that kind of a description? And as this text pops up, “Every high-rise has a hell, every hell has a queen and the queen must return,” we get all the more sure that watching EK Thi Daayan is going to be a journey that will surely spook you out!
